Using strong Neodym magnets gives this motor very smooth power delivery, extremely high torque, very strong braking and very high magnetic attraction.
The high torque (higher than most long can motors) just begs you to give this motor at least one more tooth on the pinion than you would normally use.
This might sound crazy, but I highly recommend using a Sloting+ hollow titanium rear axle when this motor is mounted as a sidewinder. The magnetic pull on a regular steel axle is strong enough to break the rear axle mount if you are not very careful when fitting your axle. Ask me how I know this.
If you are using a steel axle, I highly recommend that you fit your axle before you fit the motor.

Having decided to go with an FK format motor (because that's what I needed for my proxy car), I knew that this could inhibit sales because it won't easily fit into many RTR cars. Obviously, it will bolt straight into any Revo car (and will give it a huge performance upgrade). But, to upgrade most other brands, another solution was needed.
So I've begun to draw and print pods which will hold this motor and screw straight into other brands of RTR cars.
