And now... A Tale of Two Ferraris

When thinking about a new car to make for our Le Mans Classic class, I was browsing through photos and references when I came upon the photo above of the Ferrari 312P #19 coupe from 1969. It's fair to say that I was smitten. So I concentrated my search for references on this car. But, inevitably, that search also brought up many photos of the open version. So, early in the development, I decided to make both bodies to fit this chassis as the dimensions of both are identical. And I loved the look of them both.

This took too long finish

As the title says, this job took way longer than I expected. The working bits have been running and testing, under an early test body, for several weeks now, but finishing the body (even to my skills-limited standard) has taken more time than I anticipated.

In the back of my mind I have had a vague plan to, a couple of times per week, write up what I have been, and am currently, working on. The first question that drops into my mind though is "do people really want to read the ramblings of a septuagenarian who plays with toy cars?" I guess we'll find out as we go along.
