In the back of my mind I have had a vague plan to, a couple of times per week, write up what I have been, and am currently, working on. The first question that drops into my mind though is "do people really want to read the ramblings of a septuagenarian who plays with toy cars?" I guess we'll find out as we go along.
Mainly I'm thinking of sharing a bit about what I'm experimenting with and a bit about the design philosophy that underpins a project.
So, starting next week, I'll kick off my first attempt and we'll see where we go from there.
I'm actually not procrastinating (this time) when I say "next week", because I really want to finish my current project first. It's a bit of an off-the-wall batch of four identical cars for a one-class series our fearless leader (track owner) wants to run later in the year. These will be cars that I'm not planning to market and, when I post photos, you'll probably understand why. But I am enjoying this exercise.
So hop back in here in a week or so and check out what I have going on.
In the meantime, I'll leave you with a photo of a particular hero of mine. (click to enlarge). I'll probably end up writing a bit about him as I go along.
