I really wanted a Cortina that could be competitive (non-magnet) with The Revoslot Escorts, Alphas, etc.

A Scalextric Cortina was never going to be that for me (too narrow). So I gave this one the Revo(widening) treatment and a 40K slimline motor.

The result is definitely competitive even though the photos show my imperfect finishing skills.

I printed decals to make the Paul Fahey Cortina that I used to watch racing in my youth in NZ. Fond memories.
